It is clear for most people that physical inactivity can bring you a lot of diseases and illnesses and that we need to be physically active to obtain a healthy lifestyle. But how can we be physical active? Not everyone wants to work themselves in sweat at the local fitness center with the simple reason of not liking it. What we don’t know is that being physically active, playing sports and exercise can be lots of fun! Don’t forget that physical activity should not be mistaken for sports. Physical activity is any bodily movement produced by the skeletal muscles that uses energy. This includes sports, exercise, and other activities such as playing, walking, doing household chores, gardening, and dancing. For example, shopping or going to the beach can be very effective and fun ways of being physically active and obtaining a healthy lifestyle.
